If you haven't yet created your Workspace, you can refer to this article. For information about how to create a Job in the im✻PACT Mobile version, you can refer to this article.

  1. Navigate to the imPact web app URL.
  2. Enter your credentials and click Login.

  3. From the Left-Hand panel, navigate to Jobs.

  4. This is the Jobs listing screen. Here, you'd be able to see all the Jobs that you've created or the Jobs that you're active in. If you are permitted, you shall see a Plus button on the Toolbar. Press the New button.

  5. Input all your information for your first Job.

Job Definition: In this section, you can define your Job identifiers such as names, and descriptions.
Job Timeline: In this section, you can define the start, and end dates of your Job. This would help you generate Job Goal Gradient charts as well. If your Job is an ongoing one with no end date, you can leave it as perpetual.
Job Leadership: Here you can define the Managers, and Co-Managers for your Job. These people would have the full authority to maintain the Job and its various entities.
Job Customer: If your Job is a customer-facing one, you can optionally set a customer as well. This would help you keep track of your Jobs respective to your customers.
Job Classification: Here you can define various classifications for your Jobs. Work Type allows you to define the nature of your Job, while Work Classification allows you to group your Jobs by the same classifications. This would also further help you to keep track of your different streams of Jobs. Lastly, you can define custom tags for your Jobs as well, to help with classification and searching.
Create Button: Once you are satisfied with your changes, press the Create button.

  1. Congratulations! You have just created your first imPACT Job. From here, you can start using your Job by creating your activities, teams, milestones, and risks.
